Sandra joined EdgeStone as a founding team member in April 1999. Prior to joining EdgeStone, she worked at the predecessor firm to National Bank Financial, First Marathon Securities Limited, in its investment banking group specializing in mergers and acquisitions where she was involved in a variety of buy and sell side assignments, fairness opinions and financial advisory assignments. Sandra also assisted on general corporate finance advisory work and completed various equity financings.

Sandra currently serves on the Board of Directors of Specialty Catalog Corporation, Stephenson's Rental Services and Trimaster Manufacturing. She was formerly on the Board of Directors of Continental Alloys and Services and an observer on the Board of Hair Club Group. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Canada's Venture Capital & Private Equity Association ("CVCA"), Chair of the CVCA's Professional Development Committee and is a judge in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® awards program. Sandra has been involved in various other organizations such as the Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth's ("ACG") Toronto Chapter as well as the June Callwood Centre for Women and Families (formerly Jessie's Centre for Teenagers). Sandra holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
